Recipe: Tatanka’s Pizza
I Love to cook! I am always looking for new ways to create old favorites (since my family and I have done away with the gluten)
Last night I created a sweet and easy little oven dish that gave me that pizza smell and taste without the GMO’s or crustiness!
It was created with Ground Buffalo meat but you could do the same thing with some grass fed Burger…
Hope you like it! My Family sure did:)
2 lbs Ground Buffalo or Grass fed beef
15 oz Jar of Pizza sauce (You can use a pesto sauce to switch it up)
3 cups (or more) of shredded Mozzarella
2-4 Cloves of Garlic
2 teaspoons oregano
Salt to taste
Toppings-Choose any or all of these to create your favorite pizza flavor
1 Can Pineapple Peppers
Mushrooms Artisan cheeses
Canadian Bacon pepperoni
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a baking pan mix meat, pizza sauce, garlic, salt and oregano. Press flat into pan and pile on cheese and your ingredients of choice.
Bake for 30-45 minutes testing the center of the dish to be sure meat is cooked.
